On Wednesday, November 15th, the amazing accomplishments of four extraordinary creative women who have made enormous strides within the fashion industry will be highlighted. Event attendees will be inspired as they listen to these women share their personal journeys as they broke into the fashion business, and what it takes to create a successful fashion brand. The panelists will also discuss topics on inclusion and diversity in the fashion industry and a seat at the table. Additionally, a portion of ticket sales will benefit the students at the Oakland School for the Arts School of Fashion.
Panelists: Amy Smilovic, Founder and Creative Director of Tibi who is traveling from New York; Sherri McMullen, Founder and Head Buyer of McMullen; and Tamu McPherson, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of All the Pretty Birds, traveling from Milan, Italy. Moderated by Rajni Jacques, Fashion Director, Teen Vogue
