Beyond Emancipation (B:E) invites you to its Open House -- showcasing all of its programs and services for youth! Light appetizers and drinks will be served. On that day, it will be participating in East Bay Gives to raise funds to support the work it does.
Alameda County social workers formed B:E in 1995 to respond to the immediate needs of foster youth as they were aging out of care.
Today, in addition to continuing to offer drop-in support, B:E provides housing, crisis-informed coaching and a broad spectrum of workforce development and education services to current and former foster and probation youth ages 16 to 24. This year marks an emboldened desire on the part of B:E to further our support of Alameda County youth in creating and sustaining healthy, productive and connected livess
